[Bug 386235] Re: Change 'junk' and 'spam' folders (respectively)
I think this should be marked as a bug, since new user coming to Ubuntu would like to use their IMAP mail with evolution. Many mail servers (including Gmail) have their own folders for Trash and Junk, and when a user realizes that after deleting a message, it doesn't really delete anything in the server, s/he would get frustrated and stop using evolution at all. This can be a big set back for newcomers, Evolution should work out of the box with as many mail clients as possible, specially if some of this mail clients are huge like Gmail. This is also why people are usually switching to Thunderbird, even though the default mail client is Evolution and frankly Evolution has better integration with Ubuntu so we should try to make it better to use for everybody. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/386235 Title: Change 'junk' and 'spam' folders (respectively) -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 496005] Re: Evince changes pages with next song button
I created a new user and the same happens. I also tried the Guest account, and it keeps happening. I'd gladly provide any debug or other info you need to see this problems. My laptop is an HP dv5400, the next and previous buttons are accessed by using the Fn+F11 or Fn+F12. I've changed the keys on the system to some other ones (ctrl+alt+a) or anything else, and evince keeps changing. -- Evince changes pages with next song button https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/496005 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 496005] [NEW] Evince changes pages with next song button
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evince On Evince, everytime I press the next or previous song keys to change the song. Evince changes to the next or previous pages. I hate this, it's really annoying. Evince shouldn't change the current page when this happens. [Bug 301942] Re: Gedit ctrl-T does not open new tab
the reason why ctrl+t doesn't work, it's because it's use for indention. When you activate the plugin you can indent text automatically. I don't think it should be use to open a new tab, because you are not just opening a new tab, you're creating a new document, so ctrl+n makes lots of sense. Maybe there should be another shortcut to open a new document in a new window. That's why gedit doesn't call it, open a new tab, it's create a new document. I totally disagree with this bug report. -- Gedit ctrl-T does not open new tab https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/301942 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
