[Bug 201728] [NEW] Drag and drop error on wallpaper in gnome-appearance-properties
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-control-center I try to drag and drop a wallpaper from gnome-appearance-properties to the desktop. Then I get an error popup. By launching the gnome-appearance-properties applets through term I can the the following message when I begin drag 'n drop : (gnome-appearance-properties:24549): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_icon_view_drag_begin: assertion `item != NULL' failed I don't know if it is normal, because the feature is not yet implemented and developers like better to keep drag 'n drop activated. In this case, I don't think it is a really good choice (the user could think it is a bug like i am now doing). If anyone could give me more informations about this. Waiting for a response I will try to investigate in the gnome-appearance-properties code. ** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Drag and drop error on wallpaper in gnome-appearance-properties https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/201728 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 197206] Re: gnome-power-man consumes 300 MB memory....and increasing to bring down system
I experience the same type of bugs since few days with gnome-power- manager. First the memory consumption increase until it saturates my whole RAM (2Gb). Then it begin to consume my SWAP area. I had also to kill gnome-power-manager to back to a normal memory consumption. When I relaunch it, it does not consume more memory than normally. This bug occurs often few time after my laptop (a Dell Vostro 1400) wake up from an hibernation and reproduce at least five or six times since few days. I will try to trace the bug in the next day. -- gnome-power-man consumes 300 MB memoryand increasing to bring down system https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/197206 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
