Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: nautilus
This is another bug report about nautilus dropping a ftp connection when
uploading files. Many people subscribe to other bug reports describing
the same problem but the other bugreports are always set to invalid
state. This is really annoying,

I just changed the status back to 'new', as I can't find a reason why
the bug report had been set to 'invalid'. Obviously there are several
users having the same issue.
** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu)
Status: Invalid = New

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: nautilus
When duplicating a file using a ftp connection, nautilus disconnects the
ftp connection after duplicating the file. The error is reproducible
with several different ftp servers and any file.
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04
Package:
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: nautilus
When uploading a file via ftp, nautilus disconnects the ftp connection.
This behaviour is independant from whether a new file is transfered or
an existing one is overwritten. The upload itself succeeds, but
afterwards the connection is closed.
