My Ubuntu 22.04 also affected. It's work fine under xorg session, but distorted
under wayland.

I too have this behaviour, making gnome-tweaks very hard to use. I have
had it for some months, presumably since installing 19.10. It is still
there in 20.04. Could something be done to fix it?

I have what seems to be a variant of the same problem, but not fixable
with the workaround mentioned above. I upgraded a couple of days ago
from Ubuntu Gnome 17.4 to Ubuntu 17.10, and now various of my global
locale settings are incorrect in Gnome Shell 3.26. I set all the LC_*

five minutes I hit cancel and it continued to hang for another 10

Hi Edward,
I realize I should use the latest version of Ubuntu when filing a bug
report. It's good to see that this issue got addressed.
However, even when changing /usr/share/applications/gedit.desktop
Providing the package as requested by crichton. Though I'm not sure
whether it should be gedit or the unity dock.

When playing a video, video stops on a moment(less than a second) and
continue. Sometimes the whole program crashes (An Error Occurred:
