I'm an idiot and forgot about ctrl+alt+F1 for a second, but I tried out
those commands and they did not work for me.

sudo ln -s /etc/init.d/mountdevsubfs.sh /etc/rcS.d/S11mountdevsubfs.sh
sudo vi /etc/fstab
add string:
devpts /dev/pts devpts rw 0 0
save and reboot
