How can I show live content of a file (that is, the view is to be updated every
time something is written to the file) ?
Then I can make a screen recording.

Will it also be able to remember ones status between sessions? E.g., if
I was online when I shut down my computer, will it automatically bring
me back online when I turn it on again?
If so, then the only thing needed to free me from having to open the
Pidgin window for doing regular IM-tasks is
@Jim Braux-Zin:
you are so right - that would be the obvious behavior.
Also, it would be very cool if the me menu could remember ones state
between sessions, so, if I was online when I shut down, the me menu (or
another part of ubuntu) would automatically try to bring me back to that
same state,

Let me clarify:
* In System – Administration – Login Screen I have unchecked ‘Play login
sound’
* In System – Settings – Sounds I have chosen the sound theme to no sounds

According to the URL of this bug:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-power-manager/+bug/629258
this bug is already associated with 'gnome power manager'
How can it be so, when you say I have to 'report it upstreams' (for the bug to
be properly reported, I assume)
Does it mean nothing

USB-drives shouldn't have their own trash-can. Users know of ONE trashcan, and
thats the one they will go look in first.
To the user, the USB-drive is just a folder (that happens to be placed on an
external device). Would one want every folder on the harddrive to have its own
trash too?
