I'm using ubuntu's 7.10 default evolution, with a gmail imap account.
evolution is extremely slow to load the emails, even when the headers are
present.
using broadband connection (not dial up).

+1 for applying the patch by default. since gutsy is a test release, no harm
will be done if harm will be done..
In the worst case, remove the patch before final release.

At the 8.8.2007, I've reformatted Ubuntu's partition. up until that point, the
latest development version of evolution (using gutsy), had the bug.
The problem still exists, but I cannot provide more information from this point
onward.

gstreamer's deficiencies in comparison to xine are not limited to dvd
playback:
1. playing streaming media doesn't work as well as xine
(especially wmv streaming media) - in many cases - not at
all - this is a huge issue.
2. playback of corrupted/partial files is very cpu
an indication of the available space is will also be helpful

using gaim 2.0beta5, the problem with the parentheses still exists,
the attached screen shot is under windows, but the exact problem exists using
ubuntu.

they aren't shown in the day, work week views.
i've trying both assigning and removing the start date (on two different memos,
one from about october 2005, and the other was created as a test about two week

i've changed the classification of the memo from public to private, and it now
shows on the memo summary panel.
(using the memo--clasification- private)
when re-setting the memo classification to public, the memo still shows one the
list.

administration (with 16 elements),
preferences (with 31 elements).
i think that more categories than just those two, and better ordering, will

solved problem:
1.the problem with gtkhtml seems to be mostly solved.
there's no longer complete mix up of the sentence.
remaining evolution problems:
2. the problem with day-view direction of topics has been solved.
1. the week-view doesn't start on sunday, even when defined that way in the

If there isn't any patch available, what about changing the
default archive manager?
for example:

(that's what i've found on gnomefiles.org, sorry for not trying harder..)
