it locks after one or two seconds.
Tell me if you want me to subscribe it on another bug report.

[Bug 648618] Re: evolution memory leak

2011-02-09 Thread obrowny
I have the same problem. It eats all my memory within few minutes. Every time I
swicth my computer on, I have to kill the process.
Before on Ubuntu 10.04 it was evolution-data-server and now it is with
e-calendar-factory

One interesting thing is :

If I am connected to the internet on startup, the memory leak happens.
If I am not connected to the internet, this memory leak does not happen.
If I am not connected to the internet on startup but connect it after boot is
complete, memory leak does not occur.

thanks

[Bug 305428] Re: evolution-data-server eats memory like crazy

2010-09-04 Thread obrowny
I still have the memory leak problem with an ubuntu 10.04 lucid lynx.
The file version is 2.28.3.1-0ubuntu5.
After an hour of work, it raises 2gb of ram and after 2 hours it freezes my
computer with 2.8 gb of ram unless I kill the process once.
It seems that after I kill the process, it never happens again.

This is very annoying to kill a process every time you start your computer.
I must say that I have never had this problem before with karmic, jaunty or
hardy...

[Bug 576880] [NEW] battery not detected at all on lucid

2010-05-07 Thread obrowny
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

Hi,
Moving from karmic to lucid, I lost my battery management (in
system/preferences/). I only have the AC tab. My battery is not detected at all
:

cat /proc/acpi/battery/BAT1/info
present: no

modprobe battery
FATAL: Module battery not found.

I have tried with a liveusb and it is exactly the same thing.

If I unplug the AC, battery works.

It was fine with karmic

time, it goes back to GDM (synaptic, update manager or whatever).
Moreover when my screen is locked up after a while, when I am typing my

what is involved in this process, I will add the right log.

[Bug 527119] [NEW] rhythmbox behavior

2010-02-24 Thread obrowny
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

When opening rhythmbox for the first time through applications menu, it
doesn't open but goes directly to the systray. As you mentionned close
button should close, open button should open the program.

Let's say I want to listen to music, I need to open rhythmbox and then go to
the systray to clic show
and then select a song (as it is now focused) before putting it back to the
systray.

A normal behavior should be : open the program, choose your song to play
and throw it to the systray.
