[Bug 330858] [NEW] GDM Locking up before fully started. After login.

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gdm I can login. I hear the start up sound. Thunderbird and pidgin start(but not xchat or other apps that should auto start) both applications are missing the title bar and the minimize/close boxes. There is no background wall paper, no icons. ctl+f2
