This has not been fixed. Running Feisty up-to-date with totem-xine the
fullscreen controls still do not autohide. They work fine with
totem-gstreamer and with the desktop effects installed.

Yes, the problem still exists in Edgy with totem 2.16.2-0ubuntu1 The
fullscreen controls don't autohide when running metacity however when
running Beryl they do.

As an update to this, I noticed that this bug does not occur when
running compiz instead of metacity. I've downloaded and compiled the
latest compiz sources from the freedesktop.org git repository and if I
play a movie in fullscreen mode, the controls do disappear properly
after a few seconds.

I've been looking for documentation on python-dbus and python-hal
bindings, but it's very sparse. This seems like a tool that would be
relatively trivial to write in python to at least provide the basic
mount/unmount functionality for hard drives. Any ideas on where to get
documentation?

No I don't use beagle - just the default nautilus search. I am running
Edgy up-to-date. You need to try it on a large filesystem with a lot of
files so that the search takes time and you will see that it is still
running. I'm running the search on an old windows drive which has
66000+ files.

Yes, it is. I checked under gconf - apps - procman - proctree. col9 was
set to visible instead of col8, which is the CPU %. I tested it by creating
a new user and the default is set correctly to col8. So the bug has been
fixed.

I'm running Ubuntu Edgy fully updated. When I right-click on a file and
select Open With, CPU usage jumps to 100%. The only way to get CPU
usage back down is to do a 'killall nautilus'

Yes I can confirm this in both Dapper and Edgy. Whenever the network
connection between the two hosts is terminated, nautilus on the client
(the one downloading) hits 100% CPU and remains there. It's quite a
serious bug because the only way to bring back down the cpu is to do a
'killall
I'm using totem-xine. I just installed Edgy so I hadn't tested it out with
1.5.91. I remember that they were working on Dapper.
