Hi Pedro,
Please let me know if you need any more information to investigate this
bug. I tried to reproduce this bug on my laptop, which is also running
Intrepid and wasn't able to get it to lock up.

Here's a copy of the file that's causing the Nautilus crash. I've
renamed it to have a .old file extension as this will allow Nautilus to
browse it's directory without crashing, except in one instance:

Finally I was able to do a backtrace, but only with the sudo command.
If I ran it as my regular user, it would exit before I could trace.

To clarify, I can open the file without problems using Inkscape, but
just browsing the directory that contains the file using Nautilus will
cause Nautilus to hang indefinitely.

I have the seen the same issues running Ubuntu on my Inspiron 9300.
Now, I'm running Gutsy and my main complaint with sound is that the mute
button on the front of the laptop doesn't mute the bass speaker by
default; only the main speakers, so it distorts or sounds funny and
there's no quick way
I also noticed this problem in Gutsy, so I backed up my .hal-mtab and
.hal-mtab-lock files, removed the originals and everything's working
fine. I think it was due to 'stale entries' and wonder if it could be
related to the fact that I formatted this drive and renamed it so it's
mounted under a
I had a similar problem ripping from a CD that had two blank track
names. Once SoundJuicer got to the first nameless track, it choked and
crashed. Not sure if this is caused by the same issue, but sounds like
it could be.
I can get around this error by simply typing in track names for the two
