Re: [Bug 629258] Re: Battery life estimation never comes around
I too saw the double reporting of battery status, when I first installed 11.04. However, I saw it *before* I'd installed the patched upower I confirm this behavior. Seems that it has nothing to do with proposed patch. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to a duplicate bug report (38795). https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/629258 Title: Battery life estimation never comes around To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/devicekit-power/+bug/629258/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 177929] Re: We needs file encoding select function.
I can confirm comment #46. In my case, simply uninstalling rar, solved the problem with name encoding in rar files. Now, file roller works as expected. Using unrar x file.rar in command line works correctly in both cases, eg. with rar package installed or not. Seems that rar, somehow, interferes with file-roller behavior. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to file-roller in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/177929 Title: We needs file encoding select function. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

Ark, is not influenced by the presence or not of rar package. [Bug 580961] Re: unzip fails to deal correctly with filename encodings
@lstefek Thanks a lot! Patch solves this issue for Greek too. LANG=el_GR.utf8 Installing patched unzip and adding in ~/.profile the following lines export UNZIP=-O CP737 export ZIPINFO=-O CP737 does the trick.
