[Bug 1132063] Re: Mouse settings missing from Mouse & Touchpad dialog

2015-11-08 Thread tjagoda
Just a workaround here - I am also affected by this bug, but the
terminal command xset allows you to adjust the mouse speed using the
command line. I suggest doing a man xset to learn more about the
command, but "xset m 1.3 0" is the magic number for me. The format of
the command is xset m . More explanation on what
threshold means can be found in the manpages.

[Bug 682508] [NEW] SD format operation crashes if volume label is more than 11 characters long

2010-11-28 Thread tjagoda
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-disk-utility

I did a format on a 2GB SD card by right clicking on the SD card icon
and selecting format, under FAT windows/linux compatible file system
settings. It then asks you what you'd like the volume label to be - if
you type in anything over 11 characters, the process then errors out -
but with an error message which does not hint to the user that the real
problem is their length volume label.

A good fix may be to limit the label max length on the input field, or
to give a more helpful error message.

ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10
Package: gnome-disk-utility 2.30.1-2
ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-22.35-generic 2.6.35.4

[Bug 223230] Re: Can not install updates

2008-04-27 Thread tjagoda
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. This bug did not have a package associated with it, which
is important for ensuring that it gets looked at by the proper
developers. You can learn more about finding the right package at [WWW]
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage . I have classified this
bug as a bug in gnome-panel.
