The command 'metacity-message reload-theme' should reload the present
theme. However this is not happening.
I am in the process of creating a Metacity v1 theme. When testing the
theme with 'metacity-theme-viewer' certain features of the theme (any

Nautilus does not remember 'Show Hidden Files' setting

Binary package hint: gdm
I change my face image in gnome-about-me by selecting About Me from the
system menu. I select my face image, let's say by selecting the
dice.jpg file in the /usr/share/pixmaps/faces directory. ~/.face is
created. I restart twice and the dice image
