we doesn't keep easily with the number of bugs and looking for duplicates takes time. I didn't find the number with a quick query, it might be a rejected bug though. I'm adding it as a comment rather then an additional bug. When assigning shortcuts using System - Preferances - keyboard Shortcuts - Run a terminal the same problem exists. It should exec x-terminal-emulator not gnome-terminal as it does currently.
