The problem exist even with even with nautilus-dropbox 1.4.0-3
Nautilus still crashing randomly even if you don't try to access a
dropbox folder , making the desktop and desktop icons inaccessible..
In other words right now Dropbox and Ubuntu 13.10 cant live together ..

I upgraded my Ubuntu 13.04 installation to 13.10 and Nautilus always
crashes since then. When I run it from terminal, it just says Bus error
(core dumped).

Exactly the same here (also Ubuntu 13.10). I use Dolphin whenever I
can. It i my default file manner unless I'm usinig PCmanfm.

I removed 'dropbox_1.6.0_amd64.deb' and reinstall from source file
'nautilus-dropbox-1.4.0.tar.bz2' downloaded from Dropbox site. Then I can have
accessed files in Dropbox folder without any crash.
Somehow I can see Dropbox icon on main Ubuntu bar upper-right side, different
from Stoimenov's

I can confirm the bug in Ubuntu 13.10 daily (with 3.11.0.1 kernel). It
seems that the bug disappears if you install nautilus-dropbox 1.4.0-3
instead of 1.6.0, so it is specific for the later version of Dropbox. I
can access and edit my Dropbox folder, but the Dropbox icon is missing
from the main

May one ask when this will be done, and by whom? Has this been brought
to the attention of the dropbox developers? Or does the user have to do
this him/herself?
