[Bug 619950] Re: Evince and Okular do not reproduce characters in a PDF file accurately

2010-08-27 Thread madbiologist
I'm using Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat alpha 3, with packages updated
to the latest official versions. I also have installed poppler-data. I
can see both the black dots and the white dots, but no infinity symbols.
Marking as fix released.

Uname: Linux 2.6.35-14-generic i686
Package versions: evince 2.31.90-0ubuntu1
  libpoppler-glib5 0.14.2.real-0ubuntu1
  libpoppler6 0.14.2.is.0.14.1-0ubuntu1
  libpoppler7 0.14.2.real-0ubuntu1
  poppler-data 0.4.2-1

** Changed in: poppler (Ubuntu)
   Status: Confirmed = Fix Released

  3) What I expected to happen is when I create a .odt file in openoffice
writer (please see attached example.odt file) input white dot symbols,
and export the file to PDF, both Evince and Adobe Reader for Linux show
  the same thing.

  4) What happened instead is that in Evince, each white dot is an
infinity symbol, while Adobe Acrobat for Linux accurately reproduces the
  white dot.
