[Bug 938858] Re: Dragging files or dir.'s over to the nautilus sidebar no longer produces any highlighing of intended target

2012-02-28 Thread Sebastien Bacher
ok, using the GNOME theme (adwaita) there is a selection rectangle
around the places on dnd mouseover so I guess that's a theme issue

** Package changed: nautilus (Ubuntu) = light-themes (Ubuntu)

thank you for your bug report, is that the same issue than bug #874386?
does it happen with other themes?

No, actually I don't currently see that other bug as being valid, tested
on my cureent installs (A2 updated; image from 02/21, there is no issue
dropping files into any of the places locations on the sidebar ( you
can't drop onto Bookmarks locations, but that's nothing new

Easiest to show with screens, used live sessions for this as I'm
currently using a modified Ambiance Dark don't want to color the issue
so to speak

Attached here - as seen previously, using image from 02/21, when dragged
over the location is lightly highlighted

2012-02-22 Thread Doug McMahon
This is from todays image, noting that on my real install that the same
is seen. When dragging over this is no highlighting though dropping can
be successful

(also the same on the Radiance theme

I know from my installs the highlighting broke on the gtk+3.0 source
package upgrades, version shown in screen

2012-02-22 Thread Doug McMahon
Excuse me about saying the other bug wasn't 'valid', for some unknown
reason thought they meant places, any way this is about the
highlighting, not the ability to drop
