Thank you for your bug. What version of Ubuntu do you use? Do you enter
the day or use the calendar widget? Does it happen using a C locale?

It happen when I use backspace to delete the date that is in the widget.
I now tried to use the calendar widget and that worked so I now have a
workaround.
I've now tried to find out a little bit more about the bug, and here is the
most interesting thing I found out:
