Public bug reported: I have two computers running Precise Pangolin 64bit with all updates installed running in the same subnet. One is share the music collection as DAAP server, the other one accesses the collection as client. I have set a password for the collection. I am asked for the password when accessing the collection. I get displayed a dialogue asking whether I want to a) forget the password immediately, b) remember password "until logout" and c) remember password forever. I have chosen "remember forever" (and did reboot after reboot again and again), but the password is not remembered. I am asked for the password again and again. When choosing to remember the password until logout, I can close Rhythmbox and open it, and there is no question for the password. So remembering the password until logout works. However, remembering the password forever does not work.
