gnome-sound-applet does not handle correctly the mouse scroll events (at
least when running in xfce). the volume notification opens up but it
maybe inches one notch ahead and then get's stuck there. actually, each
time slider is manually opened by clicking on the laudspeaker icon, the
scroll up produces only one single increment of volume. if the slider is
closed and opened again, this can be repeated, again only for one
notch...
