Public bug reported:

To reproduce:

Open a new terminal window (I used ctrl+alt+T)
On the new window, open a new tab (I used CTRL+SHIFT+T)
Resize the window while the 2nd tab is active.
Remove focus from window (I used alt+tab but clicking another window also
worked)

Result: Window resizes back to its default size.

Now repeat the steps, but before resizing the window switch to the
first/primary tab.

Any resizes on the primary/first tab will be maintained when window
loses focus.
