Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-session

Well, I just installed beagle (used to use tracker, but tracker was not finding
all my files [eg, wanted to find some files with the title Stone Temple Pilots
in the actual file name, searching for Stone found nothing, but searching for
Pilots found it, possible separate bug, idk]) and when i drop down from places
to search, it still brings up the old gnome-search (and yes, the beagle daemon
is running) so I checked out Sessions and sure enough beagle-search --icon (aka
beagle search tool) is not enabled. So I click the checkbox to enable it and
it crashes. beagle-search --icon works on it's own, just won't start with
gnome-session-properties.
so I followed this https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash
and I will attach the output.
First off, is that a bug with tracker (if so I will report it), second, is not
having the beagle search tool enabled in sessions the reason for the "search
for files" under places not bringing up the new beagle-search and instead the
old gnome-search?
Hope this helps. Cheers
