I can confirm that this bug is still present on Rhythmbox 2.97 on Ubuntu
12.10. It affects me pretty majorly since I listen to most of my songs
on repeat. Once a playlist with a single song is put on repeat, it never
rescrobbles after the first time I hit play until I manually interrupt
and play
I'm still having this problem in Rhythmbox 2.90.1 in Ubuntu 11.10... if
I listen to one song on repeat, it doesn't scrobble *anything* -- rather
than scrobbling each play, which is what I'd expect it to do.
When I take repeat off, however, and just play the track once and let it
stop at the end
Confirmed on Intrepid and Rhythmbox 0.11.6

I experience the same bug in RB 0.11.2, even after reinstalling and
dpkg-reconfiguring the package.
This is also an interesting thing, because I noticed that in version
0.9.3, then it was corrected in 0.9.6 (not sure about the numbers
though). Then, I see, it reappeared in 0.11.0, fixed again in

When I last checked gutsy's rhythmbox package(about 2 weeks ago) the
bug wasn't solved. Amarok scrobbles tracks correctly - rhythmbox: not.

Hi,
Scrobble is a word used by LastFM service. It means sending
information (from ID tag) about currently played track to LastFM.
After that user can see some stats at lastfm profile.
In Feisty it scrobbled without problems.
Yesterday I installed Kubuntu Feisty, so I can't check now if
rhythmbox
