[Bug 1246908] Re: ~/.gimp-2.8 directory and everything inside is owned by root
I had this bug happened to me. Opened GIMP, but couldn't save a file to /usr/share/icons. So I re-opened GIMP with `sudo gimp`. Next time I try to open GIMP, I get permission denied. I got the same error.
First time after installation I opened gimp as root ('sudo gimp'). So it's
initial configuration is set for root. Now 'sudo gimp' works perfectly. I don't
know how to solve this..

The Xubuntu was isntalled as Alpha so maybe it was corrected meanwhile.
