Public bug reported:

gnome-menus 3.8.0 contains a bug that causes menu entries to appear in
the Other category, in addition to the expected category. This is fixed
upstream in 3.8.1 (b89833d: "layout: don't use OnlyUnallocated for
sections different than Other").

Running the attached script on a system with python-gi, gnome-menus, and
gir1.2-gmenu-3.0 installed shows the spurious Other menu in saucy and
trusty; merging gnome-menus 3.8.1 makes it go away.
