Holy hell, this still hasn't been resolved? I gotta have my
highlighting upon open containing folder! It's a complete pain in the
ass to sift through all the crap if a folder has a lot in it!

manager. That is, the containing folder is opened in Thunar, but with no
preselection of the file.
