I also found this bug by searching why spacebar shortcut stopped working in
Ubuntu 18.04. And I also strongly disagree that this feature is counter
intuitive.
I use this shortcut for more than 20 years now (since dos versions of acdsee)
and the lack of this shortcut means that I no longer can
I was googling how to re-enable this feature, as this feature is removed
on the 17.04 Ubuntu beta Gnome.
Unfortunately, I disagree that this feature is counter intuitive.
This feature is mostly useful for left handed people like me to select
the next picture.
IMO, this feature can be disabled
