Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

looking to confirm another bug, i found that if I'm using "desktop
effects" and with rhythmbox goes to party mode, when i want to go back
to normal size window or small display the main widget still use the
whole screen and the window manager borders doesn't come back either.

rhythmbox goes to small or normal view, but the main widget keeps using the
whole desktop area, you're still be able to use the
gnome-panel and others features of the gnome desktop.

i found two ways to change back to the desirable size, one is disable
the desktop effects, relaunch rhythmbox and resize to normal or small
view, and works again with or without desktop effects, until goes to
party mode again with desktop effects activated.

and the other is, from party mode goes to small view, then from the
window list click with the right button of the mouse over rhythmbox,
select minimize, then from the notification area click over the
rhythmbox icon to hide it and then again to show it. and then unselect
small view so now we have normal window again, except for the fact that
rhythmbox is shown in all workspaces, but now we can change it to "show
in this workspace only".
