Public bug reported: There are files that play fine in mplayer, but are played with incorrect sound/very-low volume in Totem using Gstreamer. I don't have any DB Surround 5.1 hardware, just my laptop speakers on a cheap Intel soundcard :-).
I'm attaching one of the culprits. It's a nine-second sample re-encoded with video low-quality, but audio left untouched in AC-3. This should qualify as fair use by US copyright law, afaik. ** Affects: totem (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Incorrect audio in AC-3 encoded AVI file with Totem/Gstreamer https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/133561 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for totem in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
