I am having the same issue on Ubuntu 14.10 x86_64 on 3.16.0-29-generic, when the issue occurs no keyboard inputs register at all. Mouse inputs work fine to say rename, copy, paste, the navigation keys will work unless I am renaming file/folder then no keyboard inputs including navigation key work a

This bug affects me as well. It also affects Chromium Version 38.0.2125.111 Ubuntu 14.10 (290379) (64-bit) - when attempting to use the backspace key in a comment field on Facebook. This causes keyboard input to no longer work for the entire application, requiring it to be closed and started again.

Same here. Keyboard doesn't exist anymore for nautilus after a while. I can kill and restart nautilus (nautilus -q) then I can use the keyboard again for some time and then nautilus stops reacting to keyboard inputs again. Not only with F2 key, but also if I create a new folder (using contextual m
