Unfortunately, systemd journal, /var/log/kern.log, and /var/log/syslog are all log rotated so on long running systems, the initial boot logs are lost. Any chance we can reconsider the decision to stop writing out /var/log/dmesg? ** Changed in: systemd (Ubuntu) Status: Won't Fix => Confirme
