I wanted to start Nautilus as root thru terminal and I had recieved following 
error messages before crashing:

# nautilus /

(nautilus:5982): Gtk-WARNING **: Failed to register client: 
GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name 
org.gnome.SessionManager was not provided by any .service files
Gtk-Message: GtkDialog mapped without a transient parent. This is discouraged.

(nautilus:5982): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid cast from 'GtkMessageDialog' 
to 'NautilusWindow'
