Thank you for your bug. Do you use the editable menus option? What shortcut is written next to the menu action? I read about customizable menus, but I don't know where to de-/activate the feature. AFAICT I have not activated it. I will post the german labels, as that is what is Displayed: Gedit - _Datei - _Speichern = Strg+S Gedit - _Suchen - Gehe zu _Zeile = Strg+I I tried highlighting a menu item and use Strg+something to change the hotkey. ok, I removed the other mappings and the bug seems gone. Readding the neolayout breaks it again. Readding the simple german layout does not. So the bug seems to be with the neostyle, which AFAIR is not officially supported by ubuntu. So thx for walking me through this. I cannot reproduce this.
