The bug is still there in Ubuntu 9.10, with Evince 2.24.1. From a
user's point of view this is a regression.
After Evince is closed and reopened, some printing options are remembered when
they should not. Specifically, these are remembered:
- print whole document / current page
- number of
I wrote above Ubuntu 9.10 where I meant Ubuntu 8.10, sorry for the
confusion.

I'm sorry to be back again, but this bug still exists in Hardy. I
printed a document four days ago in 2-per-page format, and Evince kept
this setting. I've just printed another document, which has nothing to
do with the other one, and it was also printed in 2-per-page...

don't reopen a closed bug only because you have a similar issue, this
bug has been fixed but other settings might have the same bug in which
case it's better to have a new and clear description

I still face the same issue in Hardy.
This morning, I've printed a document in 2 pages per sheet. A few hours
later I've printed another document and it has also been printed in 2
pages per sheet while this option should have reset.

This bug hits me too, and I am not the only one, apparently, since bug
#214768 essentially says the same thing (I have just marked it as a
duplicate of this one). Please backport to Gutsy, if at all possible.

the bug should be fixed in hardy, feel free to reopen if you still get
the issue using the new versions though. That's not likely going to be
backported to gutsy, there has not been a lot of demands for that yet
