Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

In a ~/Pictures directory with 300+ jpeg pictures, when using default
zoom level (100%) viewed as icons all thumbnails are showed. Then switch
to 150% OK, but when I zoom to 200%, then only first 100 pics are showed
in thumbnail, other pictures are just tiny box (like 2x2 pixels).
Pictures are arranged by name. When they are arranged by size the same
pictures are still showed like tiny boxes. 400% zoom works fine. List
view also works fine in any zoom.

They were copied from a flash drive (windows comp) and the same
thumbnails are not showed on it either. I have looked at picture
properties and didn't find any pattern, some were created with photoshop
( V7.0 or CS), some with a quick time software...pictures are about
20-900kb in size. I'm not experiencing any problem with other software
(gThumb, Gimp...).

Temp solution: moved all pictures in other directory, but there are
still that are not showing. Moved yet another time in other directory
and all pictures had its thumnails.
