[Bug 1815723] Re: Segmentation fault (core dumped)
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1814949 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1814949 I get the same error. Opening from the menu does nothing, using $ gnome-control-center or even $ gnome-control-center display as suggested above results in segmentation fault (core dumped). This is on a Dell XPS13 laptop running Disco Dingo dev branch. ** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1815723 Title: Segmentation fault (core dumped) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1815723/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1815723] Re: Segmentation fault (core dumped)
That's probably bug #1814949, opening another panel, e.G by using $ gnome-control-center display could workaround the issue Could you also get a backtrace using gdb (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace) ** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High ** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1815723 Title: Segmentation fault (core dumped) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1815723/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
