[Bug 1825224] Re: gnome-calendar cannot add credentialed web ics calendars

2019-05-03 Thread Erich Eickmeyer
@tomreyn Yes, you are correct. Fixed as such.

** Description changed:

Upon attempting to add a calendar from outlook.com, I was greeted with a
username/password dialog box. So, I entered my username (an email
address in this case) and an app password I generated since I have two-
factor authentication. The dialog box would go away, but the calendar
  would not be added.

It seems as though the username/password dialog box takes the input, but
then the "Add" button fails to become active. Reproducible every time.

The only workaround was to add the calendar using Evolution, which
properly accepted the username/app-password and added the calendar.
- Unfortunately, at that point, I discovered bug #185227.

gnome-calender, the app doesnt let me push the button "add", although I am
pretty sure the url is correct.
My caldav provider is www.posteo.de

[Bug 1825224] Re: gnome-calendar cannot add credentialed web ics calendars

2019-04-19 Thread Erich Eickmeyer
Sadly, there is nothing in the terminal output or in journalctl. It
seems as though the username/password dialog box takes the input, but
then the "Add" button fails to become active. Reproducible every time.

2019-04-18 Thread Sebastien Bacher
Thank you for your bug report. Can you add the journalctl log from the session
where you add the issue?
(or remove the calendar, start gnome-calendar from a command line, try to add
the ics and copy any warning/error which is printed out)
