I attach a screen shot. You will see that there are only two icons in the Dash to Dock Gnome extension. For the sake of clarity, I am not using the Ubuntu Dock extension. I find that the launcher in Gnome does not always accept the icon of a program. I have had difficulties with it accepting Firefox, Files and the Terminal icons.
