Public bug reported: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=502446 includes a patch (http://bugzilla.gnome.org/attachment.cgi?id=101127&action=view) to make input methods switchable at run-time via an X/GTK setting, which is something I need for the installer. Would it be possible to backport this change to the packages in hardy until such time as we have GTK+ 2.16? It would make it easier for me to test this feature properly in advance. The patch doesn't seem to affect any external symbols.
