What mimetype value do you have in the properties dialog? The icon issue
is bug #188542 and only a graphical issue, the mimetype used is correct

Status:
The mimetype value is correct. For example on a .tar.gz file, the
mimetype in the properties dialog is 'application/x-compressed-tar'. I
believe this bug is a duplicate of bug #188542 but I'm not positive.
