I also have this problem on a Dell Optiplex GX270 minitower PC. e-d-s will randomly decide to race the CPU just after bootup until killed. I also have not configured Evolution. Pedro, e-d-s doesn't crash, it just uses 100% of the CPU until killed. I have the same problem.
