Okk but I've been going through this problem since I left Windows and came to
Ubuntu Linux. My computer is not running smoothly. There are all kinds of
problems. I can't think of anything to do. I'm very worried that you are not
solving the problem properly.

Please try moving your dock from the bottom of the screen to the left
side. Does that fix the Activities clicking problem?
Please also try hitting Windows+A on the keyboard. Does that do what you
want?

If you are trying to get to the list of apps then clicking Activities is
the wrong way to do that. You instead need to hit Super+A or click on
the dots icon.
