OK it looks like the main problem is:
Unsupported modifier, resource creation failed.
XXX: resource creation failed
which was previously reported incorrectly as a crash in bug 1972991.
Please try uninstalling gstreamer1.0-vaapi and also look at
https://github.com/intel/media-driver/issues/1498

It should be Wayland, no nvidia card, and I could not find Xorg in 'ps
-ef | grep X'. Please give it an hour or more when do testing. I could
reproduce this issue on ThinkPad too.

I can't reproduce this yet. Can you attach output from 'lspci -k' and
tell if it's just Wayland or just Xorg?
