on the printed example doesn't work that's likely something there that
the filter don't handle correctly, can you display the example on screen
or do you get the same errors?

Yes, it prints correctly when you print to file but not when you use a printer
PPD.
It also works when you use the PDF driver provided with cups-pdf.
The main difference between the PDF virtual printer and a printer driver
is that in the 1rst case CUPS doesn't call Ghostscript.
