There's no evidence to suggest it was fixed - the user was just being
disruptive. I've subscribed the user, as they didn't subscribe
themselves.

libgio-fam alone: it will talk to gamin if gamin is installed; if you
want the fam NFS watch support, you'll need fam too, but I am not sure
the deps allow installing it.

I did not have libgio-fam installed. It's installed now ... no
difference.
gvfs-monitor-dir only reflects changes made on the NFS client.
I'm assuming that the behavior change between Gutsy and Hardy is the
move to gvfs.

Thank you for your bug report. The standard inotify doesn't work on
network shares, do you have libgio-fam installed? Does gvfs-monitor
DIRECTORY lists the changes correctly?
