Public bug reported: On a computer with ubuntu 7.04, when inserting a blank CDR (verified with another computer) I get this message in /var/log/messages:
May 3 13:09:52 homer kernel: [ 5144.848000] cdrom: This disc doesn't have any tracks I recognize! which should be ok, I suppose. But the dialog asking me whether I want to create a new data disk or something else does not appear. If I try to use the cd burner integrated in nautilus, when I try to write the disc, the dialog asking to insert blank media is shown. Pressing the OK button has this dialog appear again and again. If I write to an ISO file and then try to write the ISO onto the disc, I get the same problem. ** Affects: nautilus-cd-burner (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- gnome cd writer doesn't detect blank cd https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/226100 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus-cd-burner in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
