[Bug 280045] Re: CTRl-Alt-Del unusuable in vmware
Thanks. It is a workaround but Ctrl+Alt+Prnt_Scrn works for me too. -- CTRl-Alt-Del unusuable in vmware https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/280045 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 280045] Re: CTRl-Alt-Del unusuable in vmware
Hi, Hope this works for you, I got the following answer on the VMware community: Try Ctrl+Alt+Insert or Ctrl+Alt+Prnt_Scrn The last one worked for me to trigger the login screen for WinXP. -- CTRl-Alt-Del unusuable in vmware https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/280045 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 280045] Re: CTRl-Alt-Del unusuable in vmware
Thanks, but are you saying that CTRL+ALT+DEL doesn't work in VMWare, or your new keybinding (Shift+Break) doesn't work for bringing up the session dialog? ** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete -- CTRl-Alt-Del unusuable in vmware https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/280045 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 280045] Re: CTRl-Alt-Del unusuable in vmware
Sorry, that was misleading: CTRL+ALT+DEL does not work in vmware. It seems, CTRL+ALT+DEL isn't passed through to vmware. -- CTRl-Alt-Del unusuable in vmware https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/280045 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 280045] Re: CTRl-Alt-Del unusuable in vmware
Hi, Same problem. Just upgraded to kubuntu 8.10 and VMware-player 2.5. I want to login to WinXP guest OS and CTRL-ALT-DEL not passed through to the guest OS so I can't get a login prompt from WinXP. Instead VMware seems to be interpreting as request to grab focus back to host OS. Makes it impossible to login to guest OS. -- CTRl-Alt-Del unusuable in vmware https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/280045 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
