I've encountered it too (Intrepid + proposed/backports, updated as of
26.01), importing from an SD card. A tag is created, but not attached.
Photos don't show up in the "Imported" folder either.

Oh silly of me. Ive attached the log file, for some reason I couldnt
open it with gedit? but i could with nano in the terminal.
Im using the latest version in the 8.10 repo's, which is
0.5.0.3-0ubuntu4.
I plugged my camera in and tried to attach a photo to the tag "12345"
