I can confirm this one. Same exact problem here, with Evince and Ubuntu 8.10. I get the right behavior if I use lpr -o number-up=2 -o page-set=odd file lpr -o number-up=2 -o page-set=even file from command line. With Evince is impossible for me to print double-sided and multiple pages per
